It all started with our daughter, Kaia.
She was born with albinism, which makes her especially sensitive to the sun.
As we searched for sun-protective clothing, we were surprised by how few everyday options existed, especially ones that felt soft, well-designed, and kid-friendly. Most UPF 50+ clothing seemed made for beach days or sports, not for school, playdates or everyday adventures.
We just couldn’t find anything that felt gentle enough for Kaia and practical enough for everyday life.
